We are accidental enthusiasts of two-(and three)-wheeled motorized conveyances. We prefer a more staid enjoyment of our vehicles, when compared with our crotch rocket and Harley-Davidson brothers.
Our love of motorcycles does not define us, but it is a passion. We are regular folk, who just happen to love to ride.
The world has room for all types of motorcyclists, the purpose of this group is to give the under-represented "accidental" motorcyclists a group for rides, advice, etc.
If you're looking for a mellow group to ride with, free of egos, free of deafening pipes, join us. We are ride agnostic and open to motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, motorized bicycles, or any other 2 or 3 wheeled conveyance capable of going 45 mph. Despite what our name suggests, we encourage female membership as well as male.
We will do a good many coastal rides, inner city rides, and the occasional easy canyon ride.
“ Great people who like to ride. ”
“ good peeps ”

"Don't take me seriously, cause I don't either! I think you are perfectly fine with the name. It was just fleeting tini tiny thought... I said it, I would LOVE to ride with the gentlemen, when I can!..."
"If you are the originator of the group, or have been a member for long I think you are entitled to name it whatever you want. I don't feel specially threatened or left out since I am a newcomer and I knew how it is called......"
"Snowflakes recently posted an idea about changing the name League of Gentlemen Riders to something with a more gender neutral name... and I figured I should comment. ... MoreWhile I like the idea of a more gender neutral word, I honestly spent quite some time trying to come up with a gender neutral one before finally giving up and deciding to go with this name. I just couldn't come up with any compact, pleasing, meaningful gender neutral names. The specific suggestions of "gentle riders" or "gentle people" just doesn't conjure up the same image. Ignoring the gender issue for a moment, the concept of "gentleman" evokes a certain charming, noble, cerebral, urban yet still rugged, antiquated/vintage something. And gentle riders or gentle people just conveys (to me at least) the idea of riders who are literally gentle (delicate, soft, etc.), which isn't the same. And part of my justification for figuring "Gentlemen" was close enough to right, despite the gender, was because no matter how inclusive I make the name, the vast majority of people in the group will always be male, given that most motorcycle/scooter riders are male. I am open to alternative name ideas, and I'll certainly seriously consider any that deliver on the meaning/feel I'm trying to convey. So, post 'em if you got 'em, but know I'm discinclined to change the name unless the new one is really so much better. Quinxy "
