ROCK STORE & Neptune's Net Ride- November 15, 2009
blvd. Sun 10:30 AM Location 76 Pacific West (76 Gas Station) 17299 Pacific Coast Hwy Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 How to find us Look for all the bikes parked in the 76 GAS STATION! Meet Up at 10:30am and leaving at 11:00am to the Rock Store! 76 Gas Station at the corner of PCH & Sunset This is our last of the warm weather ride on PCH, while the cold weather is coming after sunday! Our way of saying hello and welcome to all new and advance riders! If you've been thinking about taking a nice ride along the Coast in nice weather, this ride is for you! It will be a very chill and scenic ride. The route is purposely mellow and easy to accommodate riders of all skill levels, depending on the group size, we will ride together. The ride will be Lead by, Lee, we will take the easier way to the rock store, going up PCH to Kanan dune rd. making a right to the rock store, lead by Lee and we will have sweepers on the ride also . Once leaving the rock store, then we will all ride together to neptune's net for lunch or to Marina Del Rey off Washington and PCH at Island's Burgers & Grill. It will be a chill ride up PCH to Las Virgenes Road; turn Left onto Mulholland Hwy; with a quick stop off at the legendary Rock Store. Rock Store, 30354 Mulholland Hwy, Cornell, 91301 We'll rest and rehydrate for about 30 minutes. Now we’ll head East on Mulholland Hwy for a short distance; turn Left onto Sierra Creek Road to get to Kanan Dume; Left onto Kanan Dume; Right into Mulholland Hwy; Left at Encinal; down to PCH; and south on PCH to Cross Creek Road in Malibu or we can take the Point Mugul route, depending how everybody feels. At the Cross Creek we'll rest, hang out and eat. There are several food places, so we can decide where we want to eat once we get there, maybe at Neptune's net or Island Burgers on PCH & Washington bl. in Marina Del Rey. Its going to be a nice day this sunday around 73 degree's at the beach, so lets make the best of it and ride! Please take a look at the route and print out a copy. We encourage all riders to wear at least the following safety equipement for this ride: helmet, jacket or armor, long pants (no shorts, please), and boots. http://maps.google.co...
