Angel City Drive-In

Awesome little mobile drive-in setup! I'm definitely going again, often as I can.

Early on, one of our members had some line of sight parking issues. We had asked beforehand to be parked next to each other so that we could socialize. One of the Angel City staff gave the member a hard time because the staff member wasn't clear enough in the beginning with options the member had for parking. The staff member conceded and allowed the member to park where she was originally and staff member gave the other driver a courtesy free pass. Overall, I think the parking situation for 60+ cars was handled well but when the movie was over I didn't see any staff assisting moviegoers with exiting the parking lot - fortunately the drivers must've had decent driving skills because there weren't any fender benders, etc.

The sound for the movie was CD quality.

Be there when the doors open at 6:30 if you want a front row seat. Bring low-profile chairs and blankets and sit on the Astroturf in front of the screen for a more communal experience. You can bring your own goodies too - although you might want to order something from the roller derby gals who will take your order for hot dogs, popcorn, candy and sodas.
